African Jewel Rooibos Cake w/ AJ Drizzle Icing : 2012-01-25

Cooking Time: Prep 20minutes Bake 20-25Minutes



1 Box Cake Mix

3 eggs

1/3 cup softened butter or margarine

1cup African Jewel Rooibos tea (room temperature).




AJ Drizzle Icing

1 lb. confectioners sugar

3 oz African Jewel Rooibos Tea (room temperature)

1 oz corn syrup

3/4 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

Cooking & Baking Instructions

Cake: I used Pillsbury Moist Supreme,  3 eggs, 1/3 cup softened butter or margarine, 1cup African Jewel Rooibos tea (room temperature).

Mix as package directions instruct adding tea instead of water. For mini cupcakes bake 20 minutes.

Icing: Mix all ingredients together until smooth. To use place the desired amount in a double boiler and warm  to 100F, then apply to the product to be iced.
